Last two days it has only been above freezing for a couple of hours, No break from winters cold until sometime in February I guess..........sigh.......

Thats why some of the prophets weren't especially liked...they never had anything nice to say about the king... especially when they had Ashera poles and Baal worshipping going on constantly. Miciah especially wasn't liked... Hezekiah and the King of Northern Israel didn't like what he had to say.

I'm curious about your tag line. He keeps back his sword from shedding blood. Ok, I understand about Jesus saying that he who lives by the sword also dies by the sword, but I realize that that statement can be held absolutely valid in a logical system discovered by anyone. Even a person who does not know Christ may be able to understand the third law of heat transfer, although Newton himself was certainly a Bible scholar. Would you like to tell me where you are with Just War theory, I'm interested in it? To the best of my knowledge, it was pioneered by Augustine, but I doubt that Aristotle, who predated hm in Greece, would have disagreed.
 
A long cold spell here in the Southeast. I guess it is across a large part of the US....

We are on day 6 now of freezing temperatures. Only two of those days has the afternoon temps rose above freezing. The next 5 days are projected to be the same.

This may set records for the coldest Janurary here in Bama. Do not know for sure, but I do not remember such a long stretch of freezint temperatures........

God is with us..........
