Congratulations to the Bengals today. Way to go Chiefs! Had that game and blew it! Penalties galore in the second half which cost you multiple big plays. :( Rant over.

Snow was 5 inches deep on the hood of my Dodge this morning, but about 3 or so on the ground. Methinks some melted due to the ground being very wet from a couple of hours of rain before the white nasties began to fall........ :)

Nothing like snow in the Heart of Dixie, huh?

The fun part was that about 3AM, the batteries in my smoke detectors decided to die. I had to listen to that awful "beep.......beep........beep" until about 11AM this morning when I could get my Dodge cleaned off/dug out and get to the Exxon about 2 miles away and buy some 9volt batteries........l

Praise God! All is quite at home now.

You are much more patient than me!!!!!
When our smoke/carbon detector malfunctions (as in randomly goes off for no reason) I'm doing EVERYTHING I can to silence the *beep...beep...beep*ing dumb thing.
I always forget that there is a trick to getting to the batteries hidden in it somewhere (hey the thing is LOUDER than all my cubs screaming at once- actually, I have one who is incredibly quiet, so that never really happens- but you know what I mean)
Often times it malfunctions just due to noise and vibrations on the wall- well, not "often" as in it happens all the time...... just that when it does happen that seems to be the case.
Actually, the smoke detector has only gone off legit once because there was smoke in the house (from the kitchen- attempting to deep fry something :rolleyes: at least the fam hasn't asked for anything deep fried since then- Lord knows I hate doing that)

I believe I hear God sometimes. I could be wrong I guess. I believe I know how Christ performed those miracles. His soul merged with God. John 14:12 tells us we can do as Christ has done. With the power of God we can become living vessels of his will. The moderators deleted my thread, but on the internet there is no such thing as a silenced person, only those who use different platforms for their thoughts.

New threads don't just show up, they pend approval- which depends on how long from the time someone types it & hit's "post" till a mod gets around to "approving"- could be a few minutes, could be a few hours.
Anyway, a lot of people have thought their threads were deleted simply because it wasn't publicly posted right away, so just thought I'd ask.

If you thought it was deleted, it just had to be approved and posted by a mod, but it shows now.
