Wow. Have to disagree quickly because this Thread ain't the place for debate.

You seem to forget that Jesus Himself "organized" worship services. Feeding the 4,000, feeding the 5,000, Sermon on the Mount, and other examples. Congregational worship for the newly established Church began at the day of Pentecost. From the first day the Apostles scattered across the known world preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus, organized worship services existed.

Paul himself laid out how Congregational services were to be conducted, and, most important, he ended his teaching on this by saying "all things must be done in an orderly manner."

Congregational Worship is the backbone of todays Church. Individuals who sit at home, out at the lake, on a beach, or in some woods somewhere reading their Bible and praying may well be worshiping God, BUT they are NOT edifying the Church, and that is what we are suppose to do.

Additionally, since it requires the laying on of hands, and praying over a new covert by Sanctified believers of the Congregation for that new convert to receive the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit: How will that ever happen out somewhere all by your lonesome?

IMO, a believer will never fully grow and mature in Jesus and His Gospel IF he forsakes Congregational Worship.

Jesus went off by His lonesome to pray, and we should do that sometimes too. BUT Jesus almost taught in Congregational format. Sometimes He would teach a single person, such as the Lady at the Well, but almost always, He taught crowds......

Don't forget my singing videos lol. I don't think you've seen any of my drawings yet. This was one of the latest ones I did, which was last year. I'd love to get back into drawing again but it was making my eyesight worse even with very good lighting.

lol, only joking. I like drawing too. But not people. I like drawing animals and birds. I find people hard to draw because of the dimensions (3D effect). I used to draw alot but haven't in recent years.

Actually, I'm a Florida Gator fan. Wolverines and Spartans too.
