Yeah, he squared me away to get me with the program. And, you didn't go - so he called you a square?

Sometimes that's the best that we can do and wait patiently on the Lord.In the mean time I guess the only thing to do is grab a coffee and wait it out.
I loved reading Richard Adams' book Watership Down so much that remembering it fondly, I read it more than once, though the second time did not strike me so profoundly. I also read his The Girl in a Swing, which gets mixed reviews due to a disturbing element. One person says this of it: The star of the show is the mysterious, enigmatic Käthe, a woman with too many secrets to hide and far too little to reveal. As the book unfolds, you'll want to get to know her. After it ends, you'll wish you could forget. But be warned! Girl in a Swing is a haunting book in every respect and one you'll remember for the rest of your life! Ha, but I do not remember much if anything of it. I read an inordinate amount in my youthThis sounds nothing like the book I read. The things described about the movie were said in the book but never were part of the action in the book. A brief mention as a basis for their fears.
I had some idea as to whether or not to watch it when I seen on netflix that it was a miniseries and nothing was described as being anything that I had read before.
The book is excellent...the movie appears to be trash.
Now if you want to read an old book that you will swear was newly written....
"That Printer of Udell's" is one that you would swear was written by someone who had spy cameras and microphones all over in your church.
But it was written around the 1900's. Amazing book in a lot of ways. Not a long one either...cheesey at the end but still a great read.

I read an inordinate amount in my youth@seoulsearch I am sorry you found the Watership Down movie so memorably horrifying as a child. I have never seen it, and don't think I would like to...
@Live4Him thank you for your movie recommendation of The Encounter. I watched it yesterday also and very much enjoyed itI could not find anything related to the second movie you gave a video for... well, not a full length movie, anyways. It was not available from any source for viewing in my country. I did find things about the Cokeville school hostage taking incident, which @TabinRivCA has mentioned a few times. I found another movie on the tube I have started watching called Encounter With The Messiah (2015), but I am not sure I will watch the whole thing as it is not very engaging. Last night I also started watching Murder Mountain on Netflix; it is very interesting and informative, as it concerns pot growing communities in remote wooded mountainous areas of northern California, the many changes that have happened over the last six decades, and all the people that go missing there.
Thanks for all the coffee and donuts @Ruby123[/USER [USER=28237]@zeroturbulence @mailmandan et alia

That option is not presented when the video is unavailable due to copyright issuesYou'll probably have to click where it says "Watch on YouTube" in the lower left hand corner in order for it to play in your browser.
I'm guessing that is because you're in another country. That option is not presented when the video is unavailable due to copyright issues![]()
