Yep.

Zero repentance.

These types of situations are serious because they affect peoples' lives, but, at the same time, my children and I, AND EVEN MY EX, laugh often as we recall how I've told some people off (for their own potential good) in the past.

I told off a leasing manager at a Mall where I rented a cart for the holiday season so good once (she needed to hear it) that she literally brought me a plate of homemade chocolate cookies the next day because she thought that I was going to press legal charges against her.

I recall another time where I told off (again, for their own potential benefit) the person in charge of a 17 day Fair that I was renting a space at so good that their nostrils literally started twitching. I honestly thought that they were going to faint.

Anyhow, I'm actually a nice guy, but I simply cannot refrain from speaking in the face of injustices...whether they pertain directly to me or others.

I saw a t-shirt a while back that I really should have bought for myself (I already have about 100 t-shirts or more).

It said something along these lines:

"You know that filter on your mouth? Yeah, mine's busted."

Unfortunately (or fortunately), that's little old me.

"Telling off" doesn't appeal to me, speaking my truth quietly accomplishes more for me, take everything to the Lord for His guidance in our actions.
Although He seems to have given me the ability to give a person a look that has often made them flee.

I hear you.

"Telling off" was a poor choice of words on my part.

"Setting people straight" (because they're "crooked"), or at least attempting to, would have been a better way of saying it.

I actually am quite respectful.

It's the blatant disrespect of others that oftentimes motivates me to speak.

It's funny (figure of speech) that you should mention that verse because I was just thinking a few days ago that I should have designed a t-shirt with that verse on it. Sometimes, I wear shirts with messages on them for the potential benefit of others. In this particular case, I would wear that shirt as a personal reminder for me.

It's easy to lose sight of things in this crazy world...especially when you're perpetually sleep-deprived.

Only got a few hours again last night, but that's my own fault.

Anyhow, have a blessed day in the Lord.

You may not need 8 hours, I have read some require 6 , some 8 hours, some 10 hours.
You know your requirements.
I recall a time the Lord was getting me up at 2 and 3 a.m. yo spend time with him, after a few weeks the pastor mentioned He had been doing that with him as well. That is God's way of interacting, He does it first, a little later you find it was from Him.

8 hours?

That's like 3 nights of combined sleep for me...lol.

Last night/this morning, I was up late while private messaging with someone here.

We spoke about the Lord and life in general for quite a bit of time, so it was time productively spent.

Not talking about you, GG.

I only told you to go to bed...lol.

Been SUPER busy for me as well, what between sick kiddos and doctors appointment... kinda hard to keep up with everything including weather changes!!

oiy... but on a happier note, I did something that the lord has Been telling me to do for quite some... and me being Stubborn I pushed it off for far too long, and finally did it! Let’s just say.. I got rid of toxic people and its Been an amazing relived feeling. wooo!!

so there’s my update on life ☺️

I hope all is well now with family (y).. when life's busy it can be real busy lol. Sometimes we have to let people go, it can be good for us. Especially if they are dragging you down. So you've had a good busy time lol.

Heard a guy teach that not all the people that come in our lives are sent by Him, rather they may be sent by the enemy to thwart the plan of God for us. Anyone else have experience with this?
