I would love to go there. I am just dreaming.........

I never thought that I would get to go either...hey, I'm just a broke Electrician like everyone else.

But my wife made it happen for me. We were in our way back from a mission trip to Slovakia and it was so cheap to do that we couldn't pass it up.

Not a guided tour or anything...just rode in taxis and busses and seen various things.
The scriptures and maps? Those I already knew.
I cried when I seen the dome of the rock with my own eyes...just like a little girl or something.

And I can tell you that often churches get together and make trips there very affordable. So you might get your wish one day.
Warning...get some Shekels...they really don't want Euros or Dollars.
Don't buy a thing on the Temple Mount/Old City tourist section in Jerusalem... overly inflated prices. Wait for the same schlock elsewhere. Much much cheaper.
And taxis are going to rob you with outrageous fares from the bus station or wherever... except from the Hotel. They will be reasonable from the hotel.
And older Jewish people there? Rude and obnoxious...the younger ones we found delightful.

If you know your scriptures and geography well...no tours for what you are seeing is needed. But whatever you do...don't miss sunrise in Tiberius on the Lake. (Sea of Galilee) most do...it's their biggest mistake.

Thank you for this John, that would have been an awesome experience. I would hope to do that one day too or who knows the Lord may return shortly.
I think I would like to go on an organised trip with lots of free time scheduled to do my own thing. When I was in Canada I went to the Jewish section down town and had corn beef on rye. Oh yum I would definitely try that again if they have it there.
But the most awesome part would be to visit the places that Jesus walked in the bible. That would be special.

well, it was a nice coffe and donut bar pic
Did you copy the url directly from some host site?

Sometimes they do not allow sharing...

In that case, you can always go to postimages.org
and upload that image using the url, although
there are times even that is not allowed :giggle:

And good morning, friends :D

Congrats on your puppies, Gandy (y)

Small dogs are in high demand even more so
now with COVID's social distancing measures

They get snapped up faster than donuts at a coffee shop

Oh it definitely was...the fishing/party boat playing Bon Jovi with the mirror ball was a funny side note to our experience there. But I could really imagine Jesus giving some of his sermons or some of the other actions described in scriptures. Totally unimpressive to the normal person... completely captivating to me.

My brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ, the word of God says:

And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. Revelation 17:10

The seventh king, "and when he cometh, he must continue a short space." (Revelation 17:10) is the king of the iron kingdom (Daniel 2:33,40, 7:7,19,23), that has come upon the whole world, beating it down and crushing it, because of this fake pandemic called Covid-19.

And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. Revelation 17:11

Jizkiahu Ben David, formerly known as Shlomo Yehuda, is the "beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition." (Revelation 17:11) that was crowned March 27, 2021 at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem. He "was, and is not;" (Revelation 17:8) and has ascended "out of the bottomless pit," (Revelation 17:8), and is going "into perdition" (Revelation 17:8) because he is Solomon, the son of King David, and that is why the whole world is going to "wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is." (Revelation 17:8)

And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever. 1 Chronicles 28:9

Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. Revelation 13:18

Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred threescore and six talents of gold, 1 Kings 10:14

The "power" (Revelation 13:5) that he is going to receive is during the last 3 1/2 years of the covenant he makes with the people, when he ends the daily "sacrifice" (Daniel 9:27, 11:31, 12:11), and "sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God." (2 Thessalonians 2:4)

And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. Revelation 13:5

And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. Revelation 17:12

For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 2 Thessalonians 2:7-9

The church was "taken out of the way." (2 Thessalonians 2:7) during this fake pandemic, not allowed to worship in the churches. The "Wicked" (2 Thessalonians 2:8) one, the Antichrist, has been "revealed" (2 Thessalonians 2:8) on March 27, 2021.

So my brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ, do not worship him.

And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. Revelation 14:9-12

And remember the true Jews will not worship him. They will only accept Jesus Christ when he comes again.

I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. Revelation 2:9

Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. Revelation 3:9

In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. Jeremiah 23:6

In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness. Jeremiah 33:16

Glory to God forever and ever, in the name of Jesus Christ.
