I usually check the size before posting something I find online... it will often say how big a file is when it shows up from any type of search, before you open it in its own windowI didn't know that pic was going to be that BIGand it's just a caricature-like generalization of today's society, not to be taken too seriously!
I'd delete it if I could

Haha I usually look at the size in the corner to see if it's real big but I was just so excited to actually find a pic that showed what I was thinking lolI usually check the size before posting something I find online... it will often say how big a file is when it shows up from any type of search, before you open it in its own windowIf it is bigger than around 600 pixels wide, I take it to an image host site like postimages.org and resize it when I upload it, get the new url code for it from the direct link line, and then post it here
Sometimes, if I post something huge accidentally, I have time to take the first url to postimages to resize it and then replace the ginormous image with the smaller one
Good morning![]()
I did not see this before now as I go to bed so dang early... but I just called my daughter at work about this, and she strongly advises you to take kitty to a vet right away because your little cat probably needs antibiotics and possibly even steroids to prevent possible eye loss. She said it could also be a corneal hemorrhage which is very serious as well, though of course she does not know. The main thing she said is, home care needs to be immediately augmented with vet care because it sounds very serious indeed.I've never thought being in the house and safely outside on fenced in porch, never thought something could happen to the cats it was a safe environment and he comes with an injured eye! And what's the worst, I don't know what happened! But because of that smell, it must have been a bug I just can't really see anything. He's tucked in bed with me right now, hid himself at my feet in the covers and being very quiet when he's usually sleeping on my back kneading and cuddling, he's apparently traumatized, he has a very outgoing and happy personality so it's a huge difference. I'm beyond upset to see him like this. Every prayer for him to be healed is greatly appreciated.
Thank you, RubyOoh I like both of these. The colours and the inclusion of the cat![]()
Thank you, RubyHeh, the first one was a bit too... um... well, let's just say, I scrapped it
I have added more animals; showing both now so you can easily see differences

Do you think there are too many animals?![]()
I love the verse with all the animalsOh! I also changed the face and made some other minor adjustments

Thank you for your feedback, GGI always like flipping to the back of magazines where they have the "spot the differences" pictures.
Let's see.....
squirl, swan, lamb, butterflies, baby ducks, leaf on lower left has changed color and has lady bugs, leaves along top are different color
thery're all pretty, but I think I like the third one best:

knowledge is *key*
You are welcome, ZeroOh I didn't know about postimages. Thanks, Magenta!
I've never heard of tinypic either lol. I didn't even know there were sites that could resize an imageYou are welcome, ZeroI have been using them for at least a couple of years now... no registration is required, there are no limits to how much you can use them, and they do not delete your images, though they give links so you can delete your own files if you want. Did you know that tinypic is no more? Yeah. They are gone, along with any images you may have uploaded there. They were around for 16.5 years, also! Ugh. Thankfully I have only two urls from them in my main document where I save all my links
Now tinypic is directing people to use photobucket
I would not recommend photobucket at all. For one thing, you may have to register, plus, if lots of people view the image you post somewhere, it will temporarily disappear (not the right term) because you are using up too much of their precious bandwidth, PLUS, if you do not keep accessing your account there, they will delete your image files (making them all defunct)!
I look at image urls, especially if I want to post something random from online; in that case, I try to find something from a reputable media cache, like ipinimg, because then I know nothing fishy is going to happen to the imageI've never heard of tinypic either lol. I didn't even know there were sites that could resize an image. I hate photobucket with a passion. I had an account on there for years and couldn't access it or any of my pictures for several months.
It works fine now but I have downloaded all my pics from there and will not be using it anymore.
I just copy and paste all my images right from the search engine. I never download them. They stay on my clipboard temporarily until I copy something else, then it gets erased. My search engine shows the size of every image in the corner.I look at image urls, especially if I want to post something random from online; in that case, I try to find something from a reputable media cache, like ipinimg, because then I know nothing fishy is going to happen to the imageOne problem with people uploading directly from their computers is the fact that many personal images are saved @ 300 ppi, which is what you would want to have if you are going to make a print of the image file. However, most monitors display at only 72 ppi or 96 ppi, so that essentially makes a normal looking image suddenly often over three times larger than what you would expect. On the old platform, an image from your computer would transfer if you quoted the message and it stayed on the same page; otherwise, as is now, it was simply assigned a numbered link, being given in sequential order of number of files uploaded to the site. That is another reason I like to use urls: the image transfers with a quote

That is great newsUPDATE:
We took him to the vet first thing this morning (this happened last night, and I still don't know what actually happened). We didn't get much sleep. Isleptnapped on the couch, since he wanted to be in the living room (probably because our other cat sleeps on the sectional).
The vet looked at his eye and said there was no scratch or cut cornea is intact (thank God, and thank you all for praying), he said there was mainly swelling. So the vet didn't see any scratch or sting mark either. I think one of those cumin bugs (forest bug) sprayed him into the eye. These bugs will spray up to a few inches in defense. Maybe I invoked it into existence here recently when I mentioned that I don't like them. I never even want to mention them again, or cumin for that matter, I'm so pissed. What's the coincidence? His eye was very distinctly smelling like it, he was obviously sprayed and it wasn't a cat spray.
So, he gave us drops for his eye and said he should be a lot better in 3 days and he should be all right and his sight fully restored in time and to keep up the drops until he's fully healed. But to come back if we don't see significant improvement in 3 days.
It's going to suck forcing these drops on him I feel like I'm torturing himAnd it's 3x a day!
That is great news![]()
