Sometimes I look out my window at my beautifully peaceful and spectacularly gorgeous view and it is hard to imagine there is so much madness and evil in the world. Still, I know it exists, just as much as I know there is little I can do about it. Some people get so bent out of shape being overly focused on worldly matters... and it seems that these days everything has become politicized and polarized. I do acknowledge being fortunate to live in Canada, not just because of the political foment happening south of the border, as well as the wide-spread corruption in so many other places as well, but for so many blessings right down to clean air and water (for the most part), indoor plumbing, fresh affordable food... the basics. And also health care that is paid for through my taxes. My recent hospital stay of ten plus days in the states would have put me 15-30K in debt depending on location
Hope you are feeling much better now my friend. Would love to meet you some day if not here on earth somewhere after the earth is made new and God is with us. I want to give you a big hug in a non covid environment and play with our cats together.
I think from past elections and the hanging chad thing that Florida did a good job this year with the election as they sent out the mail in ballots early and gave us plenty of time to get them back. (There will always be the procrastinators that wait till the last min.) They started counting the mail in ballots early so that they would have the results on election night. They went above and beyond this year to make sure that every vote counted.... I think they did a good job this year as we have learned from the past mistakes.... no more chads....
Hard to say for sure, but it could drag out for a little while.

Yes... The Florida debacle took until Dec. 8th in 2000, this will be more complex I think... I would think the Supreme Court will step in before the Inauguration in January and make a ruling.
Thank you, Darlene, that is very sweet of you to say. I have always considered you and Jerry to be two of the most pleasant and gracious people on this site. How wonderful for both of you that you found each other, also! As to my health, sometimes it is difficult to distinguish between what is the effect of being inactive/self isolated for so long, and what is the effect of the chemo, as my sleep patterns have changed dramatically LOL. I am just now nearing the end of my second round of two weeks of chemo followed by one week off, which was to be repeated six times; it is a pill form and generally fairly well tolerated, though it comes with a very long list of possible side effects, as do most meds
I often wonder how Joi (of red bird art) is doing, as we have not heard from her for quite some time following her surgery. And @p_rehbein has been absent for well over a month now being in need of a couple of surgeries. I also notice Wayne has been absent from SYM for quite a while, and hope he is doing okay...
Luna was cared for by my daughter and her dad and aunt for over five weeks while I recovered from my surgery; she had her own room in the laundry due to there being so many other animals in the house, and they became so attached to her they started making noises about keeping her if I did not take her home soon
I think she is happy to be home, but will have to return there when I have a second surgery, probably early next year, which is really not so far away now! We live in such interesting times

Prayers for you as I know it is a hard road with the chemo. I will be glad when this world is over and there is no more pain and suffering they will be things of the past and we will have new and glorious bodies that will never die. Best of all reunited with our Father and the way things should have been all along if our first parents had never sinned. Oh what a day that will be it makes me want to cry for joy at the thought of living with God and being comforted by Him in the flesh/glorified body form...
To touch and see Him face to face... Makes me think of the song Face to Face with Christ My Saviour...
Just had a thought that I will put out there... Is there anyone who lives in Tennessee that knows someone who would be willing to rent us a place short term as we look for a home to buy in Tennessee? I lost power for a while. Well, I lost my internet connection, and then noticed my modem was off, and my smoke detector intermittently chirped (scared the heck out of Luna last time
), my bathroom light does not work, no power to my stove... and yet my computer was still working without internet, and even when I disconnected the phone line from my modem, I was able to call out... so I am mystified as all get out right now 
Lawsuit filed. I knew these mail in votes would be a problem. I do find it strange that Trump was leading in multiple states when I went to bed last night and it looked like he had a pretty good chance of winning, then all the sudden today, after the mail in votes get counted, Biden slips ahead of Trump in those multiple states and wins them. Trumps chances of winning now look very slim. Sounds fishy to me, but whatever. God is in control. His will be done, regardless of who wins the election. Come quickly Lord Jesus! 
I was serving at the polls the last 4 days and honest, concerned people on both sides are in fact very good people. The one guy who created a scene was wearing a cap and mask with a candidate's name on it. A worker told him he is not allowed to do that. He started mouthing off about it's his right and he wants everyone to know 'his guy'. Well, we told him it is against the rules and another man, who apparently on the other side, was getting angry. People have valid concerns on both sides and I wonder why if Trump wins that's no problem but if Biden wins, everything is rigged. He would be like Obama, with a Republican Congress, and Court, his hands tied and no respect, IMO. It's still not over yet til ALL the votes are counted.
and Trump could win at the very end just like last time, btw
I always speak my mind anyways and expect any man or woman of God to do the same. Not sure why there is a thread with this title. It seems a better fit for the teen forum perhaps or kids.

There's an electoral college election coming up later and just like what happened in 2016, each elector has the option to defy their district and cast their electoral vote for Trump if they see fit. In 2016, I think two did that. 270 wins.

It was put in the Bible Discussion Forum because we needed an Oasis to come and rest from the battleground of the BDF...It's the best thread in this forum...We can be real people and learn to like each other here and very little fights if any break out in this thread. More of a loving one that a beat you up one....lol
