Talking about coffee. I got one from the cafe next door to the place I pay my rent and it was terrible.
 
For some of the new introductions, I am waiting for Lady Blue to step in and say "This is not a dating site!!" :ROFL::ROFL:

She must be getting old now, she is not on them in flash anymore :p
 
This was too sweet and the milk was just warm not hot. I think she couldn't remember whether she put sugar in and so put it in twice and the milk was lukewarm. It is a freezing day today so I was looking forward to HOT milk to warm up. My goodness it is freezing here today. The sun is out but seems to be giving out little warmth. Anyway that is my whinge for the day!!

I guess because it is called singles forum people may think it is like a dating section. I miss Blue saying that, I would have a little chuckle.

I just hate that Ruby. I like a Butterscotch latte and if they forget to mix that concoction the bottom part is just too sweet to drink... then Gandy throws his toys.... or is it coffee? out of the cot.
 
I have never heard of butterscotch latte. Sounds good, I assume it is like caramel??
I used to work in a tourist place and in between giving tours if the cafe was overloaded we had to race in and help usually with the coffee making as we would get bus loads of tourists at a time. So sometimes our coffee making was not the best because of the rush and being understaffed.
 
Maybe I should just explain myself. In South Africa we cast cinnamon sugar over our pancakes... and in South Africa pancakes are pancakes where in America flapjacks are pancakes :p:ROFL:

Funny how things have different names in other countries, like we have biltong and our American friends have beef jerky.
 
We have had the biltong open up here in recent years in all the major shopping centres. I have not tasted it. I don't know why but it just doesn't appeal to me.
