never got interested in the movies, but from what you say, it sounds like what they show as mermaids must've been far from the stereotypical image.....In one of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies there were mermaids and I told my wife the devil will always reveal the truth about his creatures at some stage. Talking about movies, it is 9.30pm and I seem to be engrossed in this chick flick movie called "The best of me" Never seen it before but quite good so far 
Okay just because many view Chick-Fil-A as a "Christian" restaurant, does not mean they have to be my choice of where t eat. Trust I been to many youth retreats and at least once every trip we at there. I try but I simply don't like their food, I will never let politics, ideologies or anything else determine where I eat or not. Seriously Chick-Fil-A is great value Wendy's.

Doing a search for it on Netflix displays a lot of titles I have not seen before 
I am in need of a break from my viewing of historical and current events' documentaries on the world's corruptions. I'll let you know what I think

Well, I loved the series..............I thought they were very entertaining! I loved Captain Jack Sparrow!!!!!
Johnny Depp did a great job creating his character in those Movies........
I watch the reruns every time I see them come on........ sorry........but I love them.
One of my favorite lines from them is when Johnny Depp, or, I should say, Captain Jack says:
"Why is the rum always gone?"
He gets up from his desk, stumbles to one side and says
"Oh, that's why."

I watch them for the humor, not the spiritual content.............shoot........if EVERY TV Show/Movie I watched had to have pure Biblical content, I'd just throw out my TV. Even the majority of the Televangelists wouldn't measure up now, would they?
Anyhoo...........there are bunches I won't watch because of the coarse, ugly humor, language, sex scenes and such. this Series is just fun to watch IMO
The "At Worlds End" installment was kinda weird with the mermaids, but looking past them (only a short part of the movie) the rest was enough to make one ROTFLOL

Well, you could try the RAMBO series of movies........they are lighthearted entertainment
