with all this crazy 4 day weekend rushing, I had almost forgotten just what day it is
in fact for a while, I thought yesterday was Sunday (thank you lack of sleep and coffee bean brains) and the store wasn't going to open till 10...…. ooopppsssss….
it WAS Saturday and opened extra early at 7
oh well, got an extra hour or 2 of sleep at least...…..And that means tomorrow everyone is back to work and school

dishwashers, vacuums and lawnmowers DO NOT count as the perfect wife gift..........
LOL! So far I bought her a fit bit, a weighted blanket, perfume and hand lotion. Still need to buy her a few more things. Pre-Black Friday sales at Kohl's (along with Kohl's Cash) really helped me to save money on the fit bit and the weighted blanket.

why is it called 'black friday' am tired of shops constantly saying its black friday when it just seems its a normal day. I didnt notice anyone putting their prices down a lot more than they ordinarily do over the weekend.
The real reason is that it marks the start of Christmas shopping season when most Retail Stores "go into the black" on sales. When they show a profit.... black = profit.... red = loss

Today was my day off from work and I received 3 text messages this afternoon from co-workers at the Post Office who said they were buried in packages as a result of the black Friday sales! They all worked over 12 hours today because the packages were so heavy! Start time has now changed to 6:00 am until Christmas is over. I will now get to enjoy the after shocks from the cyber Monday earthquake as well. JOY!
