Can't for the life of me understand why anyone would go to all the trouble to join a Christian Web Site just to post derogatory comments about God fearing men and women who have dedicated their lives to serving God. And then, when called on it, go to the "only talking about Prosperity Preachers."

Blanket statements cover all!

This happens a lot here on CC ya know. Folks really, really need to specify that they are only speaking of certain people, things, and NOT make blanket/broad brush condemnations, only to have to back track later.

What concerns me is why a whole bunch of Members do not immediately post to defend the men and women of God. It's that old saying:

"The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing"

We have some very good, loving men and women right here on CC who have dedicated their lives to serving God in the Ministry, and to think that they have to read such garbage just makes my blood boil............

(ok, rant over...........sigh)

Well, I did tell ya! (sigh)

These people hating on Pastors/Preachers really got to me............I simply do not understand it. Are there some bad apples? Sure. Is that justification for broad brush/blanket criticism? No way. Now it appears there are two of them from the same group. Great.

Oh, well............best advice I can give me (as if I ever follow my own :) ) is to simply stay out of the conversation.............

Probably because people who don't read most of the thread posts in this part of the forum don't want to be targeted and attacked. A lot of people -- not all -- come to this part of the forums to argue about the Bible. I'm not one to do that. This is why I don't rush to defend people who are being attacked. If you don't want to be attacked, the smartest thing to do is not post anything people will harass you about. This is also why I hate humanity and hope that it's annihilated soon. The fighting needs to stop. It's getting old, and fast.

There are also others on here who told me this is why they leave the forums, period. The fighting upsets them so much that they leave!
