I loved the phone call I got from the power company tonight to remind me not to stand in water as a power line might be down... I understand it could be a shocking experience...
Just some rain from one of the outer bands right now we will not get a direct hit unless Michael turns right - right now. But we are getting some needed rain at the moment. Been praying for our panhandle brethren that are in the direct path I don't envy them one little bit.

They didn't do too well up there. Panama City doesn't exist anymore. Very sad.
Did you get any of the rain or wind from this storm? Didn't know how much of AL it would cover and if it would affect you.
A few thoughts to dwell on today!
Proverbs 26:20) Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth. (it takes two to have a "set-to" here on CC)
Proverbs 15:1) A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. (boy, I gotta do better with that one....)
15:8) The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight. (pray constantly...)
Proverbs 21:23) Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles. (Amen)
Ephesians 4:29) Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. (we really need to work on edifying the Church, seriously...)
Colossians 4:6) Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
