I used to live in an area like that. Then I moved to Florida with hurricanes. They spew out tornadoes themselves. No basement since it would become a swimming pool. LOLTornado warning where I live. Sirens going off! My wife and I are in the basement.

No, I'm not being silly. I'm just fed up with this site and many on it...
And no, I'm not mad at God.
I didn't mean to suggest that you were angry with God. I meant that often people get angry when their expectations for others are not being met.
I was wondering if you were expecting the BDF to be an intellectual oasis in the sandstorm of life, for instance.
Or, in some other way, were you expecting someone to behave toward you differently than they did?
Just a thought.

You don't wanna know what I think of the BDF... It is neither intellectual nor an oasis.. I would NEVER recommend this site to ANYONE.

If people want to come duscuss the word, this definately is not a place to recommend.
I think it all depends on with whom you interact. But sadly, wherever there are people, there will be problems.
I wouldn't hesitate to invite a true Christian to this site, but I would warn him/her about the BDF and about the less than mature people who can be found all over the site.
I would direct them to the threads that I find interesting, like "Speak Your Mind", for instance.
Not all the people on CC are bad. It's a shame to lose someone like yourself, BLB, because not all the people on here are wise or mature.

Are you "expecting" every poster to act maturely and humbly? That is a pretty big burden to put on everyone who posts. Especially when it is constantly proven to not be true.)With full respect, what is it specifically that you are upset about, please?

expectations! Put high expectations on people and we mos def will be disappointed.
the only One who knows our hearts is the Holy Spirit. We leave things/situations His hands and we depend on Him for strength and love to be brothers and sisters to each other.
