I went grocery shopping this morning. Found 60 cents at Shaws.. yay lol... Got more bread for the duckies. One of them died :(.. Froze to the ice and couldn't get free apparently.. Poor ducky.

It's almost 40 degrees today. A heat wave. :cool:
 
Two of my duckies are dead. :( I am very, very sad. One is covered by snow (sort of) but the other one is down on the ice and I can see it..
 
I want to get ducks some day. They're probably one of my favorite animals. All I've ever known are chickens, which can be fun too.
 
I've lived in this building since 1999. Nearly 20 years, and every year these guys come back every winter and summer and stay. It varies in number from year to year, but now there are between 50 and 75 ducks. One year I counted nearly 200 of them... :eek:

They fly in every morning around 7 am., and fly away at night around 5 p.m. I love watching them fly down, it's like watching a flock of doves..lol
