Ended up having to work until almost 8:30 pm that day (some carriers were out past 10 pm). On top of the heavy mail volume and frigid temperatures, to make matters worse, the mail was LATE arriving to our office from the main distribution center so we got a very late start. We were not happy campers! :mad:

I hear ya bro, I started at 7 am yesterday, worked till 9 last night, and started again at 4 am this morning, I am about half dead. Thank God for COFFEE!!

I hear you bro! One of my coworkers worked that day from 7 am to 9 pm (and it was his day off). He was bragging about making 8 hours of time and a half and 6 hours of double time for the day. I'm to the point where I'll take 40 hours a week and peace of mind over ridiculous overtime! The money comes in handy, but I've learned over the years, the more I make, THE MORE SHE SPENDS, so why row the boat harder just to get the same distance. :o

I am with ya, I am getting to old to do all this OT. I did my time (in the military and beyond) Let the young peeps have it, I do nt need the money, plus uncle sam gets most anyway. lol

hi oldhermit,,,, I notice this post and thought intresting ,I have just become a Christian and just getting to know the bible, I don't know much at the moment but I will get there, anyway my point is us new Christians seen not to get answered when we are looking for help with bible and I have noticed if your not from America no one seems to bother,and I found when I have come on to say hi, I get hi then when I have asked about the bible no answer, so there is my thought's ok thank you.
 
I have to disagree with you on this one, I'm not from America, English is my 3rd language , and so far I have gotten all my questions answered.
 
I took the day off and got rear-ended while I was stopped at a light. Well, that's the last time I take a day off lol
