There's a river behind my apt. building, and every winter there is anywhere from 25 to 150 mallard ducks out there that my neighbors and I feed.. :)


They're wild, but somewhat tame, as in they tolerate humans nearby.. lol

Lucky!!!

We have owls but we don't feed them... except for the odd neighbourhood kitten :p (just joking BLB!!!!)
 
Oh, and a family of loons that come by every so often..but they're scared of humans so they just fly off..


One year, one of them got stuck here in winter, the river was froze over, and since mergansers are diving birds, she was stuck here all winter.. She learned real fast, that when the humans throw bread off the back porch, to be quicker than the ducks if she wants any bread.. LOL

These guys are HOGS. They get fed every day yet act like they're starving to death.. lol

Well mailman Dan I'd like to be one of the ones to thank you for your hard work in delivering our mail. You could go a little lighter on the bill part but all those packages and letters I sincerely thank you and the rest of the mail carriers around the country. I confess I am one of the guilty party that order to have stuff delivered to the house rather than go out and buy it at the store and then drag it into the house.

There is just something of easy to let the mailman do the hard work of hauling it around for me and whala I just open my front door and there it is waiting on me to put it where it belongs in my house or under the Christmas tree.

So again I thank you for all these long hours and Oh, by the way you're welcome for all the overtime pay....hugs Blond....lol
 
What ever happened to the "Post Something Completely Random" thread? It disappeared and when I tried to look it up on google, it says I don't have permission.

I believe that things got out of hand with arguing and name calling and it was deleted by a mod.

wow of all threads that's the one I least expected for that to happened. I loved posting random GIF's and memes on there
