Prayers appreciated for the family. Lack of sleep.. and not enough time in the day to get what needs to be done, finished with. Love my in laws... but so tired of their opinions and what they think I “should” or “should not” do. I’m a mommy now.. time for me to figure somethings out myself.

(sorry, just a little overwhelmed today.)

Prayers, welcome to mommyhood. parents (in laws or not) always want to help. And have a problem that if you do0o not heed their advice they get mad. It is nature and p[art of being a mom, You will probably do it yourself one day..

Does not make it any easier. I pray your husband is on your side. And I know you will get through it..

Good morning everyone. Worked 12.5 hours last night delivering a multitude of packages. One carrier was out until 10 pm and delivered 342 packages! That's 15 hours. Just a few years ago, 200 packages sounded like a lot during this time of year.

"absent from the body is present with the Lord" or there about. Most people don't believe in "soul sleep" based on that scripture.
NDE's support that there is no "soul sleep" as well.

Here is the last post that Frank made on CC.. He always gave such good nuggets of wisdom.. :) Rest easy, Frank. You are, and will be, greatly missed by your family, friends, and all here at CC..

Good morning everyone.
Hope all are well.

The evidence of God's guidance can be seen more
clearly by looking back than by looking forward.

Just ordered a new desktop for myself. It's my Christmas gift to myself. :o It's a Dell Optiplex, 4 gb of memory, 400 gb HD storage.. and it's only $89.99.. It arrives next Friday so I've gotta spend the time from now until then taking everything off this one, and disconnecting and discombobulating it. Gonna try and sell this one for $200.

Did this member pass away? Not trying to sound insensitive, just wondering.

Yes, Frank is a dearly loved brother in Christ, and used to post quite frequently, especially here in SYM; his last post was from Dec. 10 of last year, which I posted last night. He passed away on Friday after suffering from stage 4 COPD which greatly reduced his lung function, and made it impossible for him to have any surgeries that could have helped solve other medical issues he had. He was on the long list for a lung transplant. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by those who knew him.

That's sad to hear. I looked at his profile and saw he was 63. Not that old. I didn't know him but still...rest in peace, Frank.

I had some lovely conversations with Frank, and he was often very encouraging toward me when I would confront different heresies (Catholic for instance) or the atheists when they showed up. He was a very nice guy. He used to be an emergency first responder when he was much younger and that is how he got COPD, going into a situation that killed some of his fellows, which is what caused his lung function to decrease over time to the point where it was below 13%. I think at least six people died in that incident, which was some kind of chemical accident. It also meant when he had other medical issues that could be solved with surgery, surgery was out of the question due to his weakened state. He could not be anesthetized. He loved his farm and spoke of it often, the growing of various crops, and the thousand or so heads of cattle they kept, and the horse back riding, and hunting on his acreage (he had one of the largest pieces of property where he was). He once grew about a thousand acres of sunflowers, and people came from miles around to view the beauty of his fields.

I'm sad to hear of Frank's passing. You are so right Magenta, he was such an encourager, always hopeful and gracious. I feel honored he befriended me. And I praise God our brother Frank is now in the glorious Presence of the Holy One and will never suffer again.

Ever tried deleting nearly 7,000 pictures from your computer? Yep that's what I'm doing, and it's certainly a job.. lol
