We were in Gulf Shores last summer, except for the august heat, we loved it.. Visited the great battleship, and got some great BBQ in Birmingham. I can't remember the name of the BBQ place, but it was great.

We enjoyed eating at a restaurant called Lulu's. Fun, friendly atmosphere and good food. :cool:
