At night when the snow is falling, or even just with all the snow on the ground, the street lights cast an eerie orange-ish glow into my living room :eek: It truly is quite eerie! Last night for the longest time there was thunder rumbling around in the sky, it went on and on for at least twenty minutes, not your normal claps of thunder or loud exclamations and then silence, no! This was like a bomber jet plane riding shotgun in the sky but it never finished passing overhead, just went round and round and round!!! It did not turn into a butterfly either :( (<~ refers to song by Joni Mitchell :D)

I worked 14 hours and 10 minutes yesterday. From 6 am to 8:10 pm. I was asleep last night before my head hit the pillow!

It's partly my fault as I have been mailing out Ebay packages to beat the band the last few days....plus package off to the family..... my work day wasn't as long as yours though and we are dealing with record tying heat here in Clearwater....while the rest of the country is in a deep freeze....not fair I tell ya....lol

Hmm, you know some bud is so dense and strong it does start looking a tad purple in the thick of it but no, I have given all that up, or maybe I should say I have been delivered from it, for when I first got clean and sober in 1994, it was directly after crying out to God for help. Right now, especially with this cough I have, smoking anything would be the death of me :p My sleep patterns have been so disrupted with the shingles, though, that a couple of people have suggested I try pot to help me sleep. I don't think it would be a good idea for me, though. Marijuana was my drug of choice for about thirty years.

I may have gotten this cold from my doctor :p

Irony of ironies, eh? But how does one get a cold in the first place? Nine days before the cold I had laryngitis for one day, then BAM a lung affliction with no warning, as such things are usually preceded by at least a scratchy throat. Plus I have COPD :(
