It's funny because my brother will not say "hot cocoa". He will only say "hot chocolate" and refuses to say "cocoa". So I wrapped up a gift for him in wrapping paper that says "hot cocoa" on it, and I made sure it was right along the top :p

I'm with your brother on this... "Hot chocolate" sounds better than "hot cocoa". :p
 
i have declared december to be cheat month because it is obviously impossible to keep healthy during the holidays.

please... someone agree with me.

God is good, I thought I had a few papers due today and because so many things were do yesterday and today, I was scared I wasn't going to finish and hand everything in time. I come to find out that, the lats assignments are due on Thursday so I have plenty of time to finish all my work. God is good and I am now at peace

i apologized for making white rice (was out of brown, how shocking!) and he said,
"aw, mom, the whole time between Thanksgiving and Christmas is a wash, anyway...

Here is a poem I wrote awhile ago:

This bad back pain
Is a bad pain indeed.
However I am stronger
Than this bad back pain
And I have what it takes
To persevere through.
I have faith and hope,
Love and mercy too.
I have a strong will
I will not stay blue.


I have God's promise
Of a pain free body
Until then, I will kick
This bad back pain
Right off it's butt.

As I read through many of the post on CC, it's wonderful to see the servants of God, who have the fruits of the Spirit. They express so much love and compassion, when offering guidance to others. It also saddens me to see the complete opposite in some. We have encouragers and discouragers.

1 Thessalonians 5:11
Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing


In Rev. 12 Satan is called “the accuser of the brethren.”* His accusations are designed to belittle you and to lift you in pride at the same time. He’ll work to point out every little failure. He'll accuse you of fault even when what you do right. He is a liar and discouragement is one of his greatest tools. He accuses you to make you feel disgusted with yourself. He does so to make you feel unacceptable to God
