No Thanksgiving in South Africa so I will just barbeque a T-bone this week-end
Nice, sounds really good, ...pair it with some spicy fries (paprika, black pepper) and a grilled bell pepper and it's an awesome meal....
I am sorry to hear you got a mattress that was not to your liking. We spend one third of our lives sleeping, well, that is an optimum number according to some: eight hours of sleep a night, right? I don't usually get that much, but, I have really liked my bed, it is nice and firm, but now there are issues, and at least one spot where I can feel a spring, not exactly poking through the material or anything, but still, letting me know, yep, it's time has come
Beds are not cheap. Ack. It is important to have a good bed with proper support and good comfort level etc 
I have been thinking about getting a new bed for a while and sort of wanting to downsize from queen size to double, just to have that couple of extra inches of space in my bedroom BUT I went out at the end of last month and bought all new bedding, queen size of course, oh so lovely and lavender and cosy so I don't think I can do that now haha It looks kinda like this though not so frilly or lacy 
Yeah, 25 years ago I spent at least six hundred on the bed, with box spring, no frame or anything, and it was on sale, some major department store was going out of business at the time so I got a good deal on it... I have no idea what beds cost now except that they are not cheap and one grand will likely be getting off easy

We are moving into a new house and our bed is going to the guest room but the bed my wife is having her eye on is almost $2500. I nearly gave the sales person a slap

Sincere prayers for the families of the children killed in that horrible School Bus accident in Tennessee yesterday evening.
The loss of a loved one in such a way is always a tragedy that will be mourned by the families, but to lose a CHILD in such a way is a tragedy that will never be forgotten. The sorrow, the mourning will last a lifetime for these parents, families.
Pray for them, and thank God that these dear children are with Him this morning!

got into a theological discussion with our son last night.... it was an actual discussion, but he got a little heated, and then i did, too.
and then the rapscallion came up to me, hugged me tight, and told me how much he loves me.
