That is great that you cook for your dad
My mother was a good cook but she may have overcooked liver
We had a kitchen table that sat at least twelve on a regular basis and during spring cleaning, chunks of old dried up leathery liver could always be found on the supports under the table.![]()
Between the cooking, the cleaning, the help bathing and going to the bathroom, the errands I have to run, the yard work to do...all in addition to keep current in my studies at school and keep my career certifications up to date, cooking feels more like a burden than a blessing. It hurts me to say that, but it's how I feel. I'm a loner, and having someone rely on me 24/7 for everything is a very uncomfortable position for me to be in. I wish my parents would have had other kids so there would be siblings to share the burden, but I know my parents resented having me enough that they didn't want to have more. This is just my situation and what I must face each day.
