Hate to break this to ya, Miri, but the dye won't stick to the gray hair very long. Hair dye only sticks to pigmented hair. In other words, it only sticks to the original color, such as blonde, red or brown.. Gray hair and silver hair have no pigment in them.. Pigment is what gives hair it's color. :)

I prefer the winter, the snow hides the fact that I forgot to mow the grass in summer. :p

I have been dying it for several years, I started going gray at 21 :(

It sticks, but it has a nasty habit of growing out. Wouldn't it be great if we
could get a fab hair cut then buy some "grow no more" hair spray. Lol

Although maybe for men they may prefer the grow very quickly and cover bald
head version. :)
