Yes, I think things got too nasty for him. He tried to bring peace in certain threads and was torn up.He tried to reconcile and some folk refused to do so. I ask that those members that have been here a while start to take notice what is happening at CC.Not just in the BDF. People are being very ignorant, and anyone being meek of spirit is getting steamrolled. Blue,Depleted and a few others of us stand our ground and refuse to be knocked out of a thread. But Brother Justin,being new,got steamrolled.I dont blame him for leaving.So long time members please take note of those who attack or stir up trouble in threads and stand up against it. We have all reconciled on one thread but there are those who refuse to forgive and reconcile. Not just one person either.CC has changed,and not for the better. Lets watch those that cause dissension and try to derail threads and attack or be nasty to others and put a stop to it.

I know that this internal bickering violates the life of Christ in us and grieves the Holy Spirit. It's easy to get caught up in it too. Paul says that bad company corrupts. I too felt grieved over this stuff and saw how easy it is to be caught up with the strife. It's best just to post scripture and leave everything in the hands of the Holy Spirit to reveal Jesus to us all.

I think that's what happened to our beloved brother. I hope he comes back. He was valuable to us here in CC.

admittedly, i often find a bit of explanation with the posting of Scripture helpful to my understanding of the intent of the poster.

and i, too, hope he returns. he's a very valuable guy!

He was certainly valuable here and I do hope he comes back. We need more peacemakers here and less instigators.

Naturally, we are inclined to be so mathematical and calculating that we look upon uncertainty as a bad thing. We imagine that we have to reach some end, but that is not the nature of spiritual life. The nature of spiritual life is that we are certain in our uncertainty, consequently we do not make our nests anywhere. Common sense says - "Well, supposing I were in that condition . . ." We cannot suppose ourselves in any condition we have never been in.

Certainty is the mark of the common-sense life: gracious uncertainty is the mark of the spiritual life. To be certain of God means that we are uncertain in all our ways, we do not know what a day may bring forth. This is generally said with a sigh of sadness, it should be rather an expression of breathless expectation.

We are uncertain of the next step, but we are certain of God. Immediately we abandon to God, and do the duty that lies nearest, He packs our life with surprises all the time. When we become advocates of a creed, something dies; we do not believe God, we only believe our belief about Him.

Jesus said, "Except you become as little children."
Spiritual life is the life of a child. We are not uncertain of God, but uncertain of what He is going to do next. If we are only certain in our beliefs, we get dignified and have (only) the ban of finality about our views; but when we are rightly related to God, life is full of spontaneous, joyful uncertainty and expectancy.
"Believe also in Me," said Jesus, not - "Believe certain things about Me." Leave the whole thing to Him, it is gloriously uncertain how He will come in, but He will come. Remain loyal to Him
