I'm actually in a rough spot myself,
But the Lord knows, and He knows your heart.
Don't be too hard on yourself, try to use the time
to pray for others, (Hey, you can start with me, lol)
But really, there's the persecuted church, the lost, etc.
or do a study in 1stJohn, see the great love Jesus has
for you...get to know Him, or something new about Him.
I'm heading to a meeting in Jersey,
and talking to my buddy, and he said,
'Hey, tell your problems to Jesus,
I got enough of my own.'
He's a real peach!
With friends like that, eh.....?!
Good thing we're hittin' a mtg later,
we're gonna need it, lol.

Had a phone conversation with my grandmother today, after calling her back...which I never do because it never ...produces any sort of good.
So first things first, I call her over the phone and (she is kind of losing her memory so I was not sure if she was playing with me or not)... and she began just saying "wow, you're calling me," "who is this?" reverberating that over...and over...
It's funny when the people who are supposed to the most supportive in your life give the best zingers and only want you when you are successful.
I'm not answering my phone when that happens.
So first things first, I call her over the phone and (she is kind of losing her memory so I was not sure if she was playing with me or not)... and she began just saying "wow, you're calling me," "who is this?" reverberating that over...and over...

My thought for the evening.
The deepest kind of peace and faith are
represented by the dove. It is believed to
quite our troubled thoughts and renew
our minds and spirit.
I'm asking for prayers for one of my employees family.
My oldest employee, went to be with Jesus Wednesday
night. He had worked for me for 37 years, he was 75 years
old. A great husband, father, and christian. He has never
missed a day from work since he started. We will miss him
dearly, Praise God, he made it to the other side. Thank you
for the prayers. Frank

Really, how come? Are you just bored in general? Or fighting feelings of restlessness? Perhaps you're stuck in a rut.
Can you maybe change your schedule around and include things you enjoy doing? Maybe walking in the park and meditating. Or sitting in a coffee shop or diner and saying hello and talking to different folks, even the wait staff. The public library is an awesome place on Friday nights and the weekend. Lots of people and families come in then, lots of people to talk to. I even like thrift shops and flea markets, there's families of folks to strike up a conversation with.
And you know you're not useless. You're just down in the dumps right now, Sis. I pray you be blessed and you have a sunshiny weekend!

Oh, I missed this post. sorry, dear.
If I was your mother, I'd be happy if you pitched in around the house a bit, and made me a cup of tea and sat and chatted with me, ya know? Maybe planted some flowers with me in the garden. I used to love when my daughter styled my hair when she lived at home, or painted my nails. Or if she cooked a meal and did the dishes. But most of all, I loved when my daughter sang! She would be in bed at night and I'd hear her sweet voice down the hall and it just blessed my heart. She's married now, has three sons and lives a few states away from me. But she still calls me up on the phone to sing to me. Isn't that awesome? And she gets her sons to sing with her sometimes, too.
So wwjd_kilden, I would think just showing your parents you care abut them would be sufficient pay enough. I can guarantee you they would love any token of love from you most of all.
