Yesterday I met a former NFL player. We talked for a while and at one point I put on his Super Bowl ring. Man, that thing literally weighs about one pound. He wears it in public because he talks to young kids about the trappings and dangers of drugs and alcohol, and the ring is a visual of how you can achieve your goals while avoiding deadly temptations. Great guy who is a man of God, and together, we praised God's Name. It was cool!

The bad thing is that the first thought I had was, "Wow, I bet that thing is even better than a pair of brass knuckles!!"

Just in case a situation warrants the "laying on of hands" when "ministering" to people.

Not that we would EVER encounter a circumstance like that here in the Bible Discussion Forum. :rolleyes:

I could really use some prayers right now. For peace of mind that I'm doing the right thing, and that I stop feeling guilty for being anxious to get rid of the cat. That my mind, heart, and soul can experience some healing, and that this situation will bring me closer to God.. thanks. :)
