I tried to grind it and use a re-usable K-Cup, just did not do it, It was to weak (this is strong coffee, so if you do not like a coffee with some gusto, you will not like this)

I think you deserved that pricey fast food.. after the night of horrors I KNOW you went through.
 
after a short time here this morning (not with you guys... y'all are terrific) i need a little of this:

Where is the one who is wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach to save those who believe. For Jews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.


For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards,[SUP]c[/SUP]not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human being might boast in the presence of God. And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” (1 Cor 1:18-31)

thank God for this blessed 'foolishness'.

and the grandbabies will be here again today!! sigh... i'm the wealthiest woman i know :)

I don't have a problem with strong coffee, as long as I like the flavor. I felt like I deserved that pricey fast food as well. :p It was a night of horrors, but the worst part of it all to me was being so hungry for so long! :eek:

if you get a chance you should try it then, It is more expensive than the regular coffees, But if your like me, It is well worth it.

I love the flavor. People who come over beg us to make some..
 
Saw two of these guys this morning ... spring arrivals...along with about 4 inches of fresh snow when I pulled up the blind this morning. Well, I guess the huskies will like it.

Always lots of bird seed available here, so along with the red winged blackbirds, were the usual gang of blue jays, juncos and various others that frequent the buffet...as well as the little tiny varmints that creep under the snow and grab some too.

Yesterday I met a former NFL player. We talked for a while and at one point I put on his Super Bowl ring. Man, that thing literally weighs about one pound. He wears it in public because he talks to young kids about the trappings and dangers of drugs and alcohol, and the ring is a visual of how you can achieve your goals while avoiding deadly temptations. Great guy who is a man of God, and together, we praised God's Name. It was cool!
