Well ... been on this site for about a week, pretty much non-stop. Me thinks a weekly sabbatical would be good - necessary to my well-being.

My bike was just picked up for annual service ... and on return from dealing with that I started reading some motorcycle threads ... listening to peoples comments ... and it struck me - "wow ... look how civilized they all are! How pleasant!"

It dawned on me how much that place and those folks contrasted with this site . After reading that thread there the thought of returning here actually drained me and made me feel suddenly exhausted.

(Slowly shaking my head) ... that can't be right ... we should be treating each other better here ... and discussing things with more respect. The "world" behaves better than we do here. The pagans are shining brighter ... This is sad ...

Although I dont think that all behave badly on here I do see where you are coming from. It all boils down to slaying the flesh and walking in the spirit. I also think that there are a select few that post far too much on here. That saddens me as well. They have made this site their idle.

Satan does attack the word but he also attacks christians who have forgotten to walk in the spirit and not the flesh.The tongue is the smallest weapon. Most sinning with christians is with their words and not showing love. Just my two cents worth.............

Thanks for empathizing Tres ... I appreciate that.

I'm definitely not referring to all people here ...

I'd simply like to see a little less fighting and a little more encouraging ... and both done with a little more respect.

I think it would be nice to see more people posting ...
wonder how many don't post because they're scared of the response they'll get.

It's amazing to go to security to originally have them escort you around campus for work related business and they give me keys to anywhere my hearts desires. Will admit it's kinda strange

Wow been on a roller coaster since last Monday.
Mom had her surgery did good for bout two
days then had a back set. Finally came back around late Monday. I got sick ended up in er
Drs stopped heart attack but advised with great discretion that I see heart Dr ASAP.
Looks lo Ike mom will get to go home today.
After a week n two days n being 130 miles from home. Home will be such a delight to see again

Thank you Jesus for looking after my mom
in her battle n for all you are about to do.

I have prayed for your situation. It's a wonder that you are able to take care of your sick mother despite your own pain and suffering. God Bless You.
 
It seems that my critical thinking and questioning is often misinterpreted as supporting or promoting the contrary view.
