I feel you...Honestly after the day I've had I need sleep and after taking my test this afternoon my brain is done. I also am waiting on a friend of mine who needs help on her accounting homework.
But on the bright side I finally figured out how to play music on my new laptop....this is so different from my other one, but it is a joy to use.

Skylove where are you? Miss all the regular bantering we have had going on in here....It picked up a bit and then seems we die down again....
I have been coming and going.... I have about six different things going on all at once and that happens as the holidays get closer then this weekend go to get the new kitties and bring them home finally. They have had to deal with some illness but thanks to all the prayers the real worry is gone. Just have to work on ringworm that they developed so it will be a vet visit right off the bat to continue the course of treatment they have been on.....
So what is up folks anyone here now and want to chat?

Well, I am happy for you and Jerry not only do you get to bring home the kittens and celebrating your one year anniversary is exciting 
You going to get the cats for thanksgiving? Anything exciting happening for Thanksgiving? I am just sitting here eating cookies.
Well I got us a table made out of repurposed 120 year old barn wood and it is being used as an island in the kitchen and I have been able to put our pots and pans on the two shelves underneath the table and it has helped free up a lot of counter space in the kitchen so it looks like an enormous kitchen now compared to the cramped conditions tourist has put up with for the past almost year....
So this table and the two kittens are the anniversary presents for year one.... It was funny because a week or two ago I asked tourist which anniversary was wood and that is the 5th anniversary so we skipped a few and went straight for the wood and the fur...as in kittens....lol

Thanksgiving will be my daughter, Melisa and her guy and a friend over for dinner. Would love to have tourist's daughter and family but they live in Michigan and too much money to come to Florida... Hoping some day she and family will move down to Florida and we will celebrate more then if it happens.

Well it looks like Christmas has exploded in the living room and not sure how much of that mess might show up in a picture of the table/island......I will try and see what I can do...I love it because it has helped our cramped kitchen become almost normal again.... I looked for an island/work space for 6 years...been searching longer for that than I was searching for a husband but found tourist first....lol I was just waiting for that right piece that fit and this works exactly how I wanted it to.
No kittens until the weekend and then you will see more pictures of them than you really want to....lol
Spending it with my family....sisters, parents...probably playing board games and eating lots of turkey...If I start gobbling when I get back, it is because "you are what you eat"
May we please see pictures??

Obviously we have an open floor plan and you look into the kitchen working on the table....It makes a great place to fold laundry too...just the right height for this 5' 2" Blond...
I fell in love with it when I saw it. Islands I liked were priced between $1,000 to $3000 and I just couldn't stomach the price so I just kept looking and Melisa and I were downtown St. Petersburg just girls day out shopping not looking for anything in particular and we went in the store that had several of these tables around with vintage and antique type items sitting on top of them and I started to notice that it would be a great table to work on....Ooooh, that's absolutely awesome!!
When I first saw it there was only the bottom shelf as I think they wanted it set up to be eaten at and there was a big space between the top and the bottom shelf so I asked if they could add a shelf in the middle and said they would for $100.00 more. So original price was $399.00 and add shelf it was $499.00. With tax and delivery a still well under $600.00. Much better price and a unique piece with a history...
Should have said look into the living room from the kitchen when working on it......getting late and brain is in malfunction mode....lol

Is your anniversary right on Thanksgiving Day? Please forgive me for forgetting. I used to forget my own anniversary as I'm really bad with dates. Too many siblings, too many nieces & nephews, to many relatives to remember dates. LOLOL!!
