Is it just me or does anyone else think that Panera Bread is over priced for the small quantity of food that you get? My wife and I just spent $23 for two meals and I'm still hungry. Their food is delicious though.

So, I came home from classes and work and passed out from having an excruciating migraine and woke up to a blast from the past and found my old dictionary from elementary school and looked at the date of publication and found it was in 1945.

Anyways I am feeling a bit better

I tried to show tourist my love for him earlier by making him a homemade apple pie with a new recipe....well long process and I found one mistake in the recipe that I corrected as you always put lemon on the apple slices to keep them from going brown and it wasn't listed to do.... So I follow all the instruction with another ingredient that I felt was not enough of and I was right....the pie was soupy because they didn't put enough flour in with the apples to help thicken the juice......ugh I just spent hours rolling dough slicing apples just to end up throwing the pie away...

So yes, there was some loving going on in my efforts to give my guy his favorite pie....that recipe is in the trash now as it is not good and WRONG.....I knew better but wanted to try a new recipe....

I have made peach, black and blue pie (blackberries and blueberry mix), cherry pie and they all turned out good... I have made two apple pies the first one tasted good but I sliced the apples too thick this second try was a disaster..... I will make one more attempt at apple pie and not anytime soon though..... If it doesn't work the third time I won't ever make it again it will just have to be bought if he wants apple cause so far Blond is not so good at that one.... maybe it's because I don't really like it to start with and the apples know it...???lol
 
Applied for some jobs and one got back to me within a few hours by email. Considered to take the offer for an interview, but for one it's not at the location that I thought I've applied and seen advertised for... Plus the rating and comments from many under reviews doesn't seem that good - low pay, not great of a quality for when it comes to managers, etc. Guess it's a wonder why they got back to me pretty fast if business is not so good. Plus the actual location is a bit far from where I live and I don't know how to commute there by public transportation... -sigh-

Hoping that I will get an acceptance for a job interview (one that is close and I know where it is) soon enough. Even if I take seasonal position again, I don't care. I need money.

Yeah me and my wife used to go there she loved it, But then got sick of coming home hungry..lol

If you want big meals, there is a place up here in Maine that serves big quantities.

This happened to me as well. Then it didn't happen to me, before it yet again happened to me. I reckon it was all kinda random.

I think it is supposed to be impossible because they both use the same part of the brain....It is really weird
