So I was in my room having quiet time with Jesus when someone decided to turn on the air compressor that's right outside my window.

Scared the mess outta me lol

It happened to me before and my dad loves to scare me and a little secret I kind of like it when he scares me, but I will never tell him that. Lol

That reminds me of a prank I did back in High School, I forked and Tee Peed my teachers yard. I'm telling you I was a bad girl

Okay, maybe not that bad but my friend that was with me got blamed for the entire thing and on my last day of school I came clean to the teacher and he didn't believe that I could do something like that
When ever I did something like that back in High School, I was usually the first one to get blamed.

So I walked into the room that has the treadmill, and it smelled like fried chicken. So cruel. So cruel. Lol

Remember the Patch Adams movie? It's about social activist and comedian/clown, Dr. Hunter Adams who devoted his life to healing people's hearts as well as their bodies. Well, I spoke to him over the phone one time when I was researching holistic medicine for an ailing family member. Dr. Adams said something profound to me in a voice that surprisingly was quite powerful and tenacious. He told me to never look for a way out of suffering, but look for ways to encourage others in their suffering. He said that was the only real reason to be alive on this earth: encouraging others. He said that if we miss that point, we miss out on the most meaningful blessings in our lives.

I was kind of disappointed at first that he didn't fill me in on alternative medicine. But what he did tell me was so compelling and his voice was so fervent, I believed that's exactly what God wanted me to know.
A wise man. We happen to be the same age... (but I don't wear a pony tail.)

I am so excited. I went to try on some jeans I haven't worn in a while and my skinny jeans are baggy. Sorry, I had to share what I thought was wonderful news:)

Tried taking a nap.. kept waking up.. :/

GypsyRebel, I don't know your situation, but as to your 2nd question, personally I see it as "benefits." If you're separated or divorced, then it's not a good idea. He will come to view you as a booty call. As another poster suggested, the Ladies forum is actually better for asking those kinds of questions. :)

I ain't the hired help round here. Get it your own self, woman!! :p

I actually wrote a letter to him at his organization and asked him to please call me. I was so desperate for help in finding alternative medicine info. But he didn't even address that when he called me. I was so shocked that he did phone me, I just hung on to the receiver listening to his voice. LOL! And ya know what? You could hear the sadness and seriousness radiate out of his heart. There was no question he has a heavy burden for hurting people. I didn't have the nerve to ask him about medicine at all.
