Thanks, pra-eng, nicely put together. My struggle, though, has always been 'relationship'. ALL my life, and since its been so hard with those I can see, (or at least hear or read in chat circles), how much harder its been to have one with the invisible. I believe in Jesus, but I still dont know what having a relate. with Him really means. I pray and believe He hears, but dont know if its accomplishing anything. I worship, but often feel phony if the words to the song arent really my experience. I believe in Him, but lately it seems the only voice(s) I hear are my own or the enemies or others speaking the lies of the enemy, and I truly want and need to hear the voice of the Good Shepherd. So hurt over All past relationships, just dont know how to have one.

You are not the only one who has struggled with relationships. I am actually one of them and its because of a trust issue. I was really hurt recently and I am learning to give it all to God and to be completely honest with you, its not an easy task. I just want to be friends with someone who is genuine and wants the best for each other because the people that I have been friends with have hurt me so deep that its been very difficult for me to do. Just recently I have started opening up to people and I am trusting God that we have a genuine friendship that encourage each other and are always there when we need each other.

Thanks and God bless you, thats exactly where I'm at, though its gotten harder, since I was trying hard to open up and trust in this new (chat) forum, and within a week , I got burned. Cmarie, I will pray for you, I find it much easier to believe God's promises for others than for myself... I'm sure Jesus will lead you to the place you desire to be, He will never leave you or forsake you. Remember, He is both the Rock to stand upon, and the Rock to hide within. Hope we can be friends, but if not thats ok, pretty sure I know why, and it has nothing to do with you. Thinking of changing that saying about 'fool me once', etc. Update later. Peace.

I will be honest with you, we want to relate to everyone here so it helps to open up and share feelings. I know for me it is very difficult to be vulnerable and allow God to change me. Everyone here loves and cares for one another, but we also need to be able to get to know each other, if that makes sense. I know that nobody here would intentionally hurt anybody and it deeply saddens me that you were hurt and I know that if anyone knew that you were hurting they would be very upset. Yes, we can most definitely be friends as I would love to get to know more about you and your backstory. You are free to PM me whenever you may need to. God Bless

there are so few pics of me around because i really dislike having my picture taken.
then you start to do the dumb stuff like, why did the docs give me tetracycline at 10 months,
it ruined my adult teeth... wish my eyes were bigger, blah, blah.
you think i might actually grow up some day? hah
Hi Friends.
My wife had her operation yesterday and they removed only the cist (good news). They were busy with her for 1,5 hours and she is in serious pain (bad news). I feel so helpless but I still trust God for her speedy recovery. Thank you for all your prayers.

hmm, talk to them about the meds she is getting?
Last time my mother underwent surgery she was told that hospitals should always prove enough meds to keep the patient pain- free after surgery.

Wish all the above were true...but sadly...the words following 'everyone here', ...'nobody here', ... and 'if anyone knew', just didnt hold true in my experience. Just beware of all-inclusive sentiments. Praying God guards your heart and gives you discernment to go along with your re-newed faith to open up. Praying the same for myself. You're right, its not easy, but I'd rather have a few True friends than a whole bunch of aquaintences I'm not so sure of. (PS. Feel free with me as well)

Thank you, they have her on a morphine drip and they gave her some injections this morning as she is not allowed to eat or drink anything at the moment... Like I say I feel hopeless at the moment ...
