So I have some really good news! :) After one more year of high school i'm going to college to become a nurse. It's my dream job to take care of others. I have the opportunity this summer for an internship at a hospital to observe nursing. I really hope I get the chance to do this, I would enjoy it so much!!

As you know I've been on them a bunch the past
6 months. What helped me was chips, the salt
does something, what, I don't know. I would eat
6-10, it would settle it right down. I don't know
if it'll work for you or not.

I am not really a chip eater, but now that you mentioned it eating crackers does help sometimes. Its worth a shot because if I don't eat something I will end up with a dreaded migraine that I just don't want.

That is so true. Being a student is not easy, and it is not the studying part I'm talking about. A lot of things are happening all the time and staying focused can be hard. Sometimes you just have to be hauling yourself through stuff you couldn't imagine would happen. Then some students are a long way from home, and that is hard too...and then you start listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd...
you truly never know what will happen. It is difficult for any college student. But God can use the unlikely and impossible. If you are a college student and have a choice, never take an incomplete. Less than 5% that take incomplete actually finish the work. The odds keep decreasing the further out you go too. I had been taken out from classes 2 weeks before the semester finished, and i had tried to finish them, but just lacked the concentration or memory because of the chemo. 1 1/2 to 2 years later, God gave me the ability to remember everything the teacher had said in class, i still dont know how i could remember whole classes....but it takes a lot to finish an incomplete on your own. I know i had no possibility of finishing it on my own.

Just caught and reported a troll in new members... says he's an atheist and we are all stupid dumb***es.. :/

Follow your dreams, if you don't,
you'll have a lot of regrets. Why
settle for anything less than you
want?

i wish i knew this after chemo. The only thing i could find to settle my stomach was a piece of chocolate. The anti nausea meds wouldnt even work. It is weird what can be used to settle the stomach.

I know the anti nausea pills don't work.
My insurance wouldn't pay for them, so
I had to. I thought they would work, $360.00
for 30 pills, and they didn't work. That was
money thrown in the fire. That's when my
wife told me to try chips, they worked.

Good afternoon everyone! I hope all are having a good day so far. Time for me to go outside, get some fresh air, and enjoy the sunshine. ^_^

A thought for grad students ;

The road to success is always under construction.

You will have many detours.
You will have many bumps.
You will have many side trips.

The one thing you won't have, is failure,
if you stay focused.

Thanks, this was probably for me to see. I definitely was not feeling my grad school future yesterday. I'm okay now though. :)
