Thanks for the rep, Ellie, I'm much obliged![]()
You get anymore sleep, Ellie?
I 've been up since, read the word, had my morning prayer.
Sitting here watching a big ship come into the harbor.
I don't see how those things float, with all that weight.
i did nap about 30 minutes, thanks.
yeah... something about displacement and air pockets and buoyancy?
been a while since this came up in grade school science here
been looking up Greek words for a while for the Heb. study.
wish i were smarter! lol
Glad you got some more.
This was a container ship, it had containers stacked 10-12
above the deck. The problem, they are no deck, the containers
sitall the way to the bottom of ship. That leaves very little room
for air pockets. It floats, so, they have something that works.
I never have been able to read Hebrew, I tried years ago to learn
to read it, but failed.
oh, my, i can't read Hebrew either, though i'd love to learn it.
koine Greek first for me, and i got a basic program for that.
my old brain doesn't want to adapt to new 'alphabets'.
i meant OH's study on the book of Hebrews... oops! haha
I had a crash course in koine Greek, but I hardly remember any of it :/
I am currently trying to learn a few words in Gaelic, just for fun![]()
