I watched the news and they spent 5 minutes on a cat dressed as a firefighter down at the local station.
They spent 3 seconds on what's going on in Greece.

this morning one daughter called the landline at the same time as another texted repeatedly
(for which there is a term i know not what, right)

it felt like Sophie's Choice.

ps-- i've never seen Sophie's Choice and really don't know what i just said :)

Hi folks, I see the usual mix of good, bad and the ugly (no offense intended ugly:))
is happening on CC. Welcome to the human race - God bless us all, we all need it
so much. Lol

Hope things are working out for everyone according to his perfect will and timing.

I have been to the hospital with my Aunt today to follow up on her
cataract surgery. Praise God she can see better than I can now!

I'm having one of my praise God moments today. Yesterday I had one
of my down in the dumps days, the day before I had one of my "I'm so tired
days". Lol

I'm sure you all know what I mean. :)

Evenin' all, how is everyone doing?

Not wishing to bring up old arguments but I've been scanning the comments on the last couple of pages...syd has got one thing bang on - there are Christians dying all over the world right now, being beheaded for not denouncing Christ, stoned, burnt and drowned - even children. Yes far more important things for us to be worrying about than squabbles and spats on CC. We need to come together as one - the body of Christ united.
 
Type on slow tablet. Submit one post while 10 more have come in. Its very confusing. I never EVER meant ANYthing, harmful to mel, OR ANY OF YOU! If something was offensive, it was either a misunderstanding or just bad humor or someone imitating me if thats possible I dont know. Ive thought of mel as a friend and prayed for her and she KNOWS she can talk to me any time pm or public, as I have said to ALL of you. Someones sig says, 'im not a bad guy, just misunderstood'. AMEN AMEN AMEN to THAT, brother! I am looking to the cross, where my Savior said,' it is finished'. Yes, IT is finished, but I'M not. (Meaning He's not done with ME yet, so no one misunderstands what I just said). If someone else has it alldown pat, I hope they can be patient for the rest of us. (I had it all together once, but I forgot where I put it). p.s. StickyBun pic WAS posted, but it seemed EVEN THAT offended Someone, so I took it down. Would have shared them and my recipe, but then AAAAGGGGHHHH!!!! sorry, and MEL, pls let me know directly if I offend so we can be ok. Looks like I missed a few things this morning. I hope we can all forgive and forget and get along.

Our smoky skies have cleared for a few days, but with over 250 forest fires burning, all we need is for the wind to change, and the smoke will return. I have asthma, so it is a pain to me - smoke is something I am allergic too!

My daughter went home - just my son and two grandchildren left for a couple of days. Then my DIL arrives, and some friends of my son - I walked into my house yesterday after church, and didn't recognize it. Toys strewn from one end of the house to the other! So nice to have the kids here, and shake up the routine a bit! And to realize I am a lot more fussy than I thought, but I can lose that old person attitude! LOL

CMarieh, praying for your burn. That sounds awful!
