So....I got done with all the errands about an hour or so ago and was able to force myself to lie down and close my eyes and now upon awaking I feel rejuvenated and I can conquer anything that I come across. I wish my foot could say the same thing. Lol

The guys come up to the office and get their check, I would be
dancing a jig, and yelling Thank you Jesus. They would ask
why was I doing that. I told them that I didn't have to see them
for 2 whole days. They would laugh, knew I was kidding. I was
thanking Jesus because we had a safe week.

You are still on the young side, so I don't know if you'll remember this or
not. Years ago, we had 10 guage. They quit making them, well a few years
ago, they started back to making them. I had one when I was 10, I bought
one when they came back out. I shot it 10 times, have refused to shoot it
again. It left me bruised beyound anything that I've ever had. So it's in the
safe, waiting for my gran-son.

I loved that thread, it was a lot of fun thinking of many ways of not being girly. Speaking of that I need to remember to put washer fluid in my car before leaving for work:)

That was actually a requirement when I turned fifteen before I got my learner's permit is learn how to check the oil and add it if needed, check all the fluids, change a tire, how to correctly wash a car, and how to react to the vehicle overheating. Now, I don't have to worry about changing a tire myself, I just have to be concerned about having somebody stop and do it for me as I can't touch the tire. Here in Oregon we can't pump our own gas and so in a way it is nice.

Hey, guys... Guess who's back for a little while.

I came here to ask to keep my family in prayers. It seems like every summer for the past couple of years that problems surface/occur more so than any other time of the year, therefore I came to dread the summertime for this reason.

Most of it has/had been financial and health problems. This summer (even before the summer started really) has been aimed towards my cats. My oldest one (fourteen) started coughing and we took him to the vet to get him on some medicines. He's doing a bit better now. The youngest (who is four years old) started to cough but it's a lot louder, persistent and coming with other symptoms that seem to worry me a lot more. Once she has an attack you can tell that she's in pain and would lay down someplace alone for a while after. She's also eating less and to me seems to have got a little thinner than she has been. We're taking her to the vet tomorrow and I really hope it's nothing life threatening because I'm so attached to this one. She's literally the most affectionate cat I've ever seen. I'll keep this updated after the vet visits if there is more than one.

Also some other issues have came up for when it comes to health, such as anxiety and ear complications that I had checked out. Another that is a little more personal to me even though I have mentioned but never went in depth about has been dental problems. It's been kind of bad, to say the least, especially since I'm still young and shouldn't have to really go through these issues to begin with. It's probably also the result of bad genetics since teeth problems seem to be apparent on my mother's side and likely my father's too. I'm likely going to need some crowns placed in once I get through with it. The only one who seems to have good teeth would be my older brother. We're caught up on this as well and I really wish I could fix it right now. It would be nice to smile and not be so self conscious about it.

Some other issues that include financial has been apparent too. I don't think I need to go in depth with it. But this summer for it to have barely begun to now seems to really have hit us on a personal level. Why always during the summer when it should be the most relaxing time for many of us? I don't know if I believe in demonic influences or whatever as some people claim that happens when constant tragedy strikes, but if so then it's hitting a good number on us for at least a few years now. Don't get me started on the spiritual level part... Sometimes I just don't know how much longer I can hold.

Please keep us in prayer anyway. Sorry that I'm such a downer. It's no wonder why I tend to be alone because of such.

wow what a hot day. Just put in the homeschool book order. For those who think homeschooling can be cheaper...LOL not this mama. I can't make up my own stuff so I order everything...yes I've gotten lazy, but she's my last so I'm sailing through these last 4 years.
