Willie, let me know how your surgery goes. My mom said it was the best thing that happened to her, my father never really recovered. I need the surgery, probably a bit later than sooner. But after 6 months on prednisone, it could account for why I can barely see anything anymore.

I had a much better day today! Praise the Lord. I woke up and my fingers were not clenched in a painful fist. I can walk on the foot that subluxes with almost no pain! My jaw is barely hurting!

I spent the afternoon with two of my grandchildren. The 2 1/2 year old is reading books. He can spell more words than most kids in grade 2 or 3. He just taught himself. The 6 month old is just happy, happy, happy! So much fun to visit.

I have some other stuff to deal with also..... but as far as today's surgery goes.... just one eye done, and I am typing this without glasses.... first time in years.

My uncle had that surgery about two months ago and he has worn gas permeable(hard) contacts for years and since the surgery he doesn't have to wear glasses or contacts anymore. Praise God. I will definitely being praying for you Willie

But....Why do they call him a monster? Because he isn't a monster, he is really sweet. I don't know anyone who would be scared of him except for a little pesky bug

I have a good chocolate chip cookie recipe....it uses peanut butter in it...
 
Seriously! I live on a huge lake in BC, and they have a lake monster, too! Yesterday, there were circles on the lake, and I thought for sure, we were going to see him. Then we got out the binoculars, and it was just the wind blowing in a strange way.

Maybe next time?

He painted himself green to look like the Hulk, and then went for a swim...people were scared
