I had my coffee this morning and now after shredding a paper box full of papers, writing up receipts, issue mail, run errands, make a bunch of copies, I am bored!!! I want to do so much more stuff, but I guess I was so fast I got it all done early. Now I feel as though I am being punished:( And it is a beautiful day:)

My goodness... Who would have ever thought that an Oatmeal cream pie would take all my problems away? I feel better after that first bite of ooey gooey-ness...

that and still working on that caffeine of mine :)

I love oatmeal especially with strawberries, yum!!! Well, I can eat anything with strawberries and it would be delicious. I am a little hungry

Is it bad that I actually thought about eating another one...? lol I mean they are pretty delicious... And they don't last very long. They are like chocolate to me.. Delicious at first, but gone before you know it. :(

oh well... I'll wait till dessert tonight.. Mmmm mango Popsicle!

I listened to it Heather ... and yes, it touches the heart deeply. I had heard of him before and have even watched a clip or two of him many years prior ... but it has been a long, long time. What a day that will be indeed ! :)
 
Hey everyone,

My dad is back in the hospital with complications, and due to have emergency surgery soon. Any prayers would be greatly appreciated.

I'm a little anxious, sorry... but am very grateful for all my friends here.

Please know too that I try to keep up with this thread as much as I can... I'm sure I miss some posts and I'm sorry for that. But when I see prayer requests here, I try my best to pray over them when I'm at work and doing tasks that allow my mind to spend some time with God.

Kim, I am so very sorry. I will definitely be praying for your dad and for God's peace to surround you and be your comforter while you await word on what is going on. Please keep us updated.
 
So I got a collection agency notice in the mail requiring my unpaid tuition. I called the school two months and told them it would be paid at the end of the summer, so I don't understand two months later I called I get a collection notice. I know this is gonna hurt my credit now, and maybe even impact me when I try to move out on my own. Does anyone know what I'm supposed to do? This is my first time getting any type of notice, so I really don't know what to do.

Throw the letter away....that's what l'd do.

Joking.... it should give you instructions or a number to call to talk to someone about a plan?
Most collection agencies just want you to pay something, even if small, per month.
It lets them know you are serious about taking care of it.

I'm surprised that with the current state of the economy, that collection agencies aren't super overwhelmed? Stall out the student loan crisis?
