I am so exhausted. I only slept for about three hours and I am definitely going for some coffee this morning. I just need to leave the house a little early to get some. If you all could be praying that my business presentation goes smoothly today.

Yes, it is a great life and this is how I now spend a great deal of my mornings. It is especially good in the fall of the year sitting by the fire just about the time it begins to show a dim light in the east with a blanket over my shoulders and a cup of coffee in my hands listening to the birds waking up the world, especially the scissortails playing and the mocking birds boasting their repertoire.

oldhermit, I'm glad to see you enjoying what God gives us. I've been in distress since last thursday. When you're like that it's hard to notice the birds in the trees, much less be thankful for them.
Rough when I got up, but it's a little better after my coffee. Have to go back to OKC at 10 and hopefully the doc gives me some relief.
Fell last friday and hurt my left shoulder. Have a bunch of weed eating to do and can't do it right now.
But God still loves me and if He doesn't give up on me, I'm not either.

So y'all have a great day and remember, Jesus loves you! :)
 
so last week, i ate too much of the not-good-for-you-but-tastes-so-good food.

and this week, i feels it.

sigh. back to good habits. lol

Sorry to hear that Phil. It seems when we get older things just do not seem to heal as quickly as they once did. Like my Dad says, "You have to be tough to get old." I am now beginning to learn that I am not as tough as I once thought I was.
 
Love you friends...Im on my cell...oddly last night after I posted my testimony story about a bus crash...my tablet just destroyed...no damage to it just poof...I just spoke to the computer geek guy..and he cant explain what happened...odd right? All I have is a cell now...I love you all on CC...today will likely be my last day on here for awhile...its just my tablet went poof...I love u all sooo much..I will keep u all on my phone...the Holy Spirit is with me...thru all my sadness in life. ..Im not afraid of anything...I dont want u my friends to ever fear anything either...I love you all..see u soon

I feel for you. I just went through that with my PC. 12 days down, and $343, not to mention losing all my programs and all my mail... contacts and all.

Truly friends I love you and thank you all here. I tell you my time on CC has most part been beautiful...but I must confess...lately some people in this forums really have gotten the best of me. I remember my in person friends used to say to me all the time that I was so sweet..so sweet. Lately some forums ..certain people in them have made me sarcastic and bitter
..and folks..thats not me at all...not at all. Thats how I know...I have to step back...because God is telling me...skylove...bitterness and smart ellick..is just not you. So please forgive me for it friends. Jesus heard my tears..and He loves me for He knows my true heart. But you all dont know my true heart.
And I am sorry for anything. I miss the old sky...before I let some peoples arguments in forums get the better of me...yea I miss the sweetie in me...she is still there lol..its just Jesus is going to bring her back lol. God bless u everyone. You are all beautiful to God :)

Though sometimes I wonder if us as Christians should make these jokes cuz it makes us look kinda mean...am I being too uptight?
