Sarah be zzzzzz...before much longer lol. JL...I am praying you get to go home Monday. :) what an ordeal. Electric popping so dangerous. Praise God you and tourist are alright.

May 26th Tuesday about 5 minutes before tourist was getting home from work the breaker box started popping and I kid you not it sounded just like a pop corn machine in a movie theater....Well I'm scared out of my wits and get the phone number for the electrician and call them to send someone out as this is an emergency come NOW!!!

I get off the phone with them and start walking to the front door and see smoke pouring out of the breaker box so get on the phone dial 911 for the fire department to come. Then outside to warn my 5 neighbors that are connected to me to get out of their houses mind you this is about 8PM and tourist is driving up right as I am going to warn the neighbors....I tell him what is going on and notice over by our trash dumpster where all the meter boxes are that it is sparking and flames are coming out of the meter area.....

Notified all the neighbors got them out of their houses and I am not sure how many fire trucks showed up but they were everywhere. Got the fire out, but we have been without power since then and living in a hotel just brought the notebook with us to the hotel today and looks like we won't be back in our townhouse until Monday or Tuesday.... We are safe the house/building did not catch on fire but out of 6 units our wires were melted and we have to be rewired.... The Home Owner Association is paying for it.... Thank and praise God for that as it is a very expensive ordeal...

Anyway we are o.k. and miss you guys...Please pray things go smoothly and we are back home soon....Thanks a bunch....Blond

Praise The Lord you two guys are safe and your neighbours too! Yes I had wondered why you hadn't been around because it's kind of unusual not to see you here but I have only just seen the reason why! Hope you get back to some sort of normality soon. God keep you safe. Hugs

Blond and tourist were/are burned out......lol I told tourist that I laugh in the face of adversity.....he said he couldn't....I said well laughing is better than crying....Someday we will look back at this and laugh....I don't think he is buying what I am trying to sell....

We/Blond usually will announce a departure......Silence with this Blond is NEVER a good thing.... ask tourist.... We were literally burned out of CC......a whole lot of electrical popping going on....had Blond jumping and heart thumping my adrenalin rush was enough I could have lifted a 747 all by myself....... I was calling every emergency agency I could think of and now that the fire and sparks have all settled down I realize that there were so MANY FIREMEN that I was too scared to enjoy the view......Now I'm bummed out.....lol

I'll stop now before I get into any more trouble as this is a gray area for the Blond and CC....lol
