We have the same thing here. Electric goes we have no phone,no lights,no well,no water,not sure about the heat. . :p

heat was NOT a problem last night. :rolleyes:

last Thanksgiving we lost power for 4 days.... then it was a problem. ;)

Depending on the number of people to be served: Boneless - Skinless chicken breasts, Baby New Potatoes, fresh Carrots peeled and sliced, 1/2 cup diced Red Onion, season as you desire.

Slow cook until chicken is completely done (usually 4 to 6 hours on High setting).

Can pull out the breasts, and cut them up, put back in Pot.

Cook 4 servings of Pasta of your choice. Place Pasta on plate, then ladle over the Chicken, Potatoes and Carrots.

Or, you can just skip the Pasta, and have Homemade Chicken Veggie Soup.

i also like to do boneless chicken in the slow cooker with salsa and sour cream. :cool

then we can use the leftovers for chicken tacos or enchiladas. :)

Grrrrr.... Woke up to thunder storms, and just 20 mins ago there was a tornado warning for a town about 20 miles east of me. We have chances for rain till Saturday. And it's mainly isolated storms. I'm telling you I am soooooo done with rain lol
