See I don't have problem with math you can actually work out an answer. My issue is the periodic table where Au means gold even though theirs neither an A or U in the spelling of G-o-l-d

The first ones I used were for spelling (in 4th grade).... George Ellis' Old Grandmother Rode A Pig Home Yesterday. and... Mac Hine invented the machine.

That's because Au comes from the Latin "Aurum." Strangely enough, the English language is rarely used in science. You are much more likely to find Latin, and Greek. But never English! Too new a language I guess!

same reason lead is PB....the latin is plubnum

Yeah, I have a friend who studied latin and Greek in highschool she said it made science classes like chemistry so easy. Especially when trying to figure out word meanings
