I hate coming here and keep asking for prayers cause it seems all I ever do on this thread. I just got a text from my best friend and former roommate for a year at university. He was admitted to the hospital last night because he tried committing suicide. He says he's in a really dark place right now. I told him I can call him during lunch or after work tomorrow. Praise God that he is still alive but please be keeping him in your prayers. Hope you all have had a better Sunday.
 
Hi tintin! I will sing to you ....a little song that is true.... never smile at a crocodile he'll eat your shoe...never hang upside down to watch a nombat frown....or rollerskate with a koala when you take him into town.....never try to play fetch with a wild dingo in the park....and never never floss the teeth of a great white shark! That is what a family does for each other, we comfort, pray, and encourage each other. You should never feel guilty or ashamed of asking for prayer on here EVER. You are truly loved here and we will pray for your best friend.

Thank you sister marieh. That really means a lot. For once having Bronchitis is actually a good thing, as I wouldn't still be up right now or have seen the text til about 6-6:30 if otherwise.

No problem. I will be praying that the bronchitis clears up as well. It does seem as though you have been through a lot of things lately, but I believe it is a good thing because God is getting ready to do something amazing in your life and you need to claim that in your life and keep seeking God with everything.

Praying for you and your friend. Suicide is a very permanent solution to a temporary problem!

If I were to be restricted solely on my complaints and ranting, I would've been banned a long time ago...

Definitely going to keep your friend in my thoughts and prayers. It's never a fun place and they did the right thing by being admitted.
