they want us to make cakes lol. i'm a teacher. not a baker! lol jk. maybe i'll just be all kinds of awesome to keep them company :D

I am baking a cake for my sisters birthday....it is on Mother's day.... just buy a cake mix and follow the instructions, then slap on frosting....lol
It doesn't have to be fancy, unless you want something special. Like I am making a chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting.....it isn't fancy, but it does the job

I like when my daughter makes me gifts for Mothers Day! She is artistic! When a gift is made for me....sigh...priceless! Money can't buy that feeling. She has made me little things all her life. Lol...I even have a little Smurf collection she made and baked with clay...becuz she knew the Smurfs was a popular cartoon when I was a child. Grouchy smurfs nose fell off and I wanted to cry...but she will superglue it lol

Now that she's grown with her busier life...she doesn't make me things as much. Which I totally understand! But I still look at those little gifts when she is away! Lol...cute!

Sorry lol...but its just cute how when she was small we would go and collect things in the woods! Lol...you couldn't get my daughter an inch in woods now! Lol...we laugh about that too!

my parents have kept EVERYTHING we've made them :)

in my dad's office, he keeps a drawer full of cards we made him.

Sometimes l wonder if it's possible for people to spell Mississippi, without doing that weird little song?

OK so now I know how bad mowing the lawn is going to be this year. (I hurt all over, mowing that lawn is like riding a bucking bronco for 2 hours) And to top off I brought home an unwelcomed guest. (The ticks are going to be bad this year) :p

There is a song to spell the state of Mississippi? I honestly never heard of it.

My parents haven't kept everything although there are a few things that did keep. I do know my dad too, kept all the cards we ever gave him.

So...I went to my doctor appointment and all went well. He wants to give it more time and see where I am at. He also wants me to be taking Serotonin and I am a little nervous about using it.

Now for some useless trivia. :)

Faced with the next-to-impossible problem of spelling Mississippi, millions of people around the English-speaking world fall back on that venerable children's rhyme:

M-I-crooked letter-crooked letter-I
Crooked letter-crooked letter-I
humpback-humpback-I.
Others recite:

Mrs M, Mrs I, Mrs Double S I,
Mrs Double S I, Mrs Double P I.
Even then, thousands of folk don't know how to spell the word correctly. On the Internet, Google lists an amazing 208,000 pages misspelt as Mississipi (with one p).
The single-p advocates go back nearly three centuries, as an 1718 French map in the Library of Virginia is entitled Carte de la Louisiane et du Cours du Mississipi. Maybe that was the correct spelling in those days.
To spell the State's name correctly, remember these lines:

Four simple words will get you by:
What you'll never MISS IS SIP PI.

I sincerely apologize, but now I am more confused.
