Its a beautiful day here in Oregon, sunshine and nice and warm. Although, I would be happy in the rain and I kind of wish it would rain.

The funniest part is, I probably could find stuff that needs shredding....If you are really bored, you can shred your homework and redo it....:p
I did that once.....I know I am crazy lol
 
I got some great news today in my business class where I didn't do very well on my exam and the instructor just surprised all of the students with huge amount of extra credit, I am talking about up to 20% of extra credit. I am so happy and thankful for all your prayers and especially FridayChild your prayers were answered.:D
 
So, the job I had previously never worked me. Which is why I had been searching hard for a new one. Today, I got a call asking to come in tomorrow. It was the first time in 3 weeks they had called, and they would on average call 3-4 days a month after originally telling me I'd work 20-25 hours a week. I asked if it would be okay if I could come in at 12:30, since my new job has me working 6 a.m. to 12 p.m., and the other job has lunch from 12-12:30. I was told it wouldn't work. My question to you all is, how do I tell him I have a new job? Everyone at my position at the old job either has a second job to go along with it, or are in school. I thought maybe I could use the old job as extra cash, since other people seem to not have a problem working 2, but after being told I can't come in at 12:30, I have a feeling maybe I can't have the old one still. Any thoughts? (Hope that makes some sense.)
 
If the hours of your secondary job conflict with your primary job then one of two things must happen. Either the secondary job offers you more hours and pay then the primary one or you resign the secondary one and work around the primary ones.

How do you tell them? Write down what you want to say. Read it, edit it, re-write it till you feel confident about it. Put yourself in the position of receiving that message and if it sounds good, tell them exactly like that.

If they can't understand you having another job, they're out of their minds. Who can live off of a few hours of work here and there? So no matter how you tell them, it's not unreasonable that you'd have another job. Ya know?

Also, congratulations again on that new job. I hope you like it. Grace of Jesus to you, brother! :)

Well, my week started off with a bang. LOL! My son convinced me to try this Living Clay that's a body detox. It's supposed to rid you of yucky stuff in your liver & other organs and rejuvenate you. What the hey, I thought I'd try it. It tastes like unsweetened almond milk so that's a plus. I know it takes your body at least a few days to detox and you can get flu-type symptoms while your body is cleansing. And that's what I'm going through right now. General icky-ness.

But it's my 2nd day so I'm counting on feeling better tomorrow. YAY. :o

Here in the Florida panhandle, we always have sunshine. Sometimes we get in the liquid form, and sometimes its a bright and beautiful light. Looks like today will be a liquid sunshine day. Isn't it great to know that the bright light of the Son of God always lights a path for us.

We are so blessed. Our grandson has finally found a new job. He starts at 7 AM tomorrow (and he has a new girl in his life, could hear them wedding bells yet). My son's old truck will be running this evening. And I've completed titration to a new seizure medication and still am seizure free. Mama and I feel like celebrating this afternoon.

I'm going to pour another mug of coffee and see what I'm go0ing to have for lunch.
