It does, and it does resemble an elephant's head a bit, if you leave out Brabant and Limburg that is.
This is how the Netherlands see (saw) themselves though.
My grandparents came to the US from North Holland when my mother was a child. My grandfather had two jewelry stores back in the 1930's, one in New York and one in Philadelphia.

No, its the part where the eye is, I live on the mainland though my family did come from the islands. We didn't get any winter weather here so no, not as cold as parts of the US were. There's sea to the north and west, there are lakes and canals, so yeah, pretty good fishing.So, you live on an island there? Sweet..........but it's gots to be COLD.....nice fishing though huh?
