You are so nice. I actually was in charge of the nursery program at a church I was attending and babysitting this little boy, I watched him constantly because his mom was going to nursing school. I have always had a heart for children and looking forward to the opportunity when God gives me children, as I love them so much.
 
Ok girls and boys ... without sounding stupid here ... I need a question answered please. I am curious, after you ask God for forgiveness and repent of your sins, you are forgiven. What I need to know is, Do you have to ask forgiveness for every single sin that you have done in your life? If that's the case then I am doomed cuz my past was full of sin and I cannot possibly remember every single one of them in my 45 years here on earth. Hope that wasn't a dumb question, but you folks in here are really cool and down to earth ... so you will all forgive me for my 'bubbleheadedness'. LOL
 
I believe when you get saved and Jesus comes into your heart you are forgiven of everything you have done. However, after you are saved and then you sin then you need to repent, ask for forgiveness and turn away from the sin.

Heather, sin runs so deep in us, and God's Law is so Perfect,
i don't think we even recognize half the stuff we do and say and think and are.

we repent as God mercifully shows us, and trust Him with the rest.
i hope that's how it goes, anyway. :)

Thank you, I thought that as well. And each time I do sin, I do ask for forgiveness immediately. The 'old' me did not care. The new me notices every single thing I do wrong now. Wild how that happens. :)

Children are awesome, but also can be scary....I saw so many scary moments when I helped at church...

It gets bad when you start correcting your own papers in college....I catch every little mistake I ever make

"And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Acts 2:38

This means that when we repent, God saves us. After that, confession is what we need to do.

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9

We need to keep short accounts with God. But when we are first saved, we need to repent, which means to turn away from sin, and back to God. The individual sins before we are saved are forgiven by God.

Never be worried - God is bigger than all our sin, and he loves you so much, he died on the cross for your sin!
 
I figured to everybody is already asleep, but I am just about ready to burst. I am so happy I just took a quiz for my accounting class and got a 100%. God is so great because I was so nervous when I submitted the quiz.:D
 
Okay. I'm back, but not for long. Prayer and worship group tonight. It's called "Transformers".

Well I guess a congratulations are I order ;). Well done!! I know how stressful these exams can be and to get 100% is no small feat.

I wish! Our leader/facilitator called the group "Transformers", because it's about being transformed into the likeness of Christ. But he's also a big fan of "Transformers" - More than meets the eye! I sometimes call him Optimus Prime. He's a cool guy.
