That's easy Cmarieh! I worked with a very hateful, snide woman once. Her husband was just as vulgar! She nosey...looked at me once up and down and said " why don't you have a husband? You look to me as if you could get 'someone'?". God forgave my sarcasm....but I said..."Because I wouldn't want a husband like yours!"...and walked away. I wouldn't had been sarcastic...But the woman looked me up and down like I was just a physical display...I have a good heart inside. Some people just have no tact when they ask you things. Ugh

One of the last churches I was at there was no singles except for older gentlemen. I am not emotionally ready right now anyway, but if God seems fit for me to be in a relationship then so be it. I don't make a move unless God says okay.

I used to think and maybe in some ways I still do think I am not worthy enough for a man to want to be with me. It doesn't help when other point it out to you. I totally agree with you, though, would they want someone to do that to them if the roles were reversed?

What is most disturbing is the fact that it is the Psycho who brings the only form of stability to this thread.
 
Apparently I have been out of my criminal justice classes too long....last night I was looking through the forums and off to the side on the newest post thing I see "It doesn't matter how a body is disposed of after death." I thought for sure someone was trying to cover up a murder on CC of all places.... It is fine, don't think the same thing I did last night when I was tired....they were talking about cremation vs burial....

you two are great woman, don't let doubt get you down. It is not looks, it is the heart that makes people great. Don't let anyone convince you that you are not good enough for a guy....If God wants to be with you, wont the guy God has for you too?

Same here. Thank you Kody for saying what you said. Sometimes I am okay and others I do struggle and have to put it at the cross daily

Cool. We have many such churches in our city... a hundred times more across the bridge, and it is refreshing to occasionally attend one. (Even though, since the stroke, I'm a little rusty)
 
i gotta give a praise report right now!

so my church has started a prayer chain. i signed up for 12 pm to 1 pm (since i have a 2 hr lunch), which means i won't eat until 1 pm lol. anywho, i told myself this morning to bring a snack to work to hold me over til 1, but i completely forgot. about 10 mins ago, my boss asked me if i like peanut butter cookies to which i answered "OF COURSE!" turns out, a patient gave him about 5 cookies, and he gave them to me!

i just stand amazed at how God cares even of the small stuff! now i have cookies :D lol

All anyone has to do to make you happy is to give you COOKIES! Not a bad thing. I am so happy for you:-)

You could always a hang a cookie over the treadmill and when you get on it, the cookie could be your cheerleader and it could say "EAT ME". I know its terrible, but hey one way to get your exercises out of the way.:-)
