Kodiak.....I was sitting up front with the choir in church one time and smoke started coming in from the floor registers.... My father-in-law who was the preacher said Well it's the first time I preached until the church got on fire....we laughed as someone went and checked it out... come to find out some kids got a hold of the plastic birthday cake they used to sing Happy Birthday to the kids and thought it would be a good idea to light the plastic candles.... and we know the rest of the story.... no damage except to the plastic cake and a couple of scared kids....

Hmmmmm maybe they should have been in church sitting with their parents.....Parents do you know where your children are???

Lived this long? 50 is old?! I thought I was still a spring chicken... :confused: Oh well... guess it's time for me to wake up and smell the coffee and put away my favorite fire engine red bell bottoms. *sigh*

my closest friend as a child was Barbie. (yeah....she and the doll were both born in '59 :rolleyes: )

Barb lost her dad when we were 8, and her mom remained a widow.
but when Diane needed to clean and preferred to read a book, she'd put on an apron,
put the vacuum in the middle of the living room, place a dustrag on the coffee table,
sit on the sofa, and read.

that way, if anyone came to the door, it looked like she was cleaning. ;)

Bell bottom jeans make a 'swish' when you walk! You can have a little song with you every step! Lol...I like that :-)
